• One thing that struck my wife and I during our time in Overstrand was that during the day, it was rare to see anyone younger than 60 out and about. Everyone seemed older, and most seemed to have dogs with them. So just a bit of slice of life from the English seaside in springtime.

• Sweet moment. Here it is still early in the vacation season. The youngsters are still in school. Perhaps it is still early there too? Or maybe the younger people are party animals and stay out late!

  I think that where I live it's quite the opposite to what you described Overstrand to be like. Everyone out and about seems to be under 30 and it's not often you see older people. Or maybe that's just because i'm young and I hang out in the party areas :)
