Love the tones, textures and composition. The distinct line between the sand and stones is interesting. Laurie @ May 27, 2009
Beautiful tones and colours and nice pattern in the sand. I wish the overall pattern in the sand would't have been 'disturbed' though, but that's just me, I guess I'm a romantic! On the other hand it helps tell a story, we don't always live in a perfect world! Thomas Folke Andersen @ May 27, 2009
Hey, great new perspective on a familiar scene! I´m quite amazed right now about what turns out when the viewpoint shifts... And I really like the more or less clear line between the two areas in the photo. Nice work. :-) -trond- @ May 27, 2009
Very pretty. I love the composition here, especially how you halved the picture between the rounded stones and the soft beach. The colors are so nice, too. Caryn Caldwell @ May 27, 2009
Jim, this is not just a beautiful picture. This is poetry: The crooked lines & these wonderful colours, the footprints in the sand telling stories in my mind. A great picture Iw ould like to thank you for!
All the best & safe travels, Fritsch. Fritsch @ May 28, 2009
Well... you might be jealous about the variety of scenes available in cities, but I am jealous of your sand and pebbles!!
Really like the contrast in colours, shapes and textures here.
It looks like the picture is turned on its side, i.e. you took it with the pebbles on the left and sand on the right. This gives an interesting depth to the image.
I can't decide if the foot steps add something to the image or not...
