From the local women's football game on Saturday afternoon. This would have been a much better shot had it been taken a half second sooner and the ball was still in the frame. (Having a lens that is more than 70mm would probably have been a good thing too.)
I was just going to say it was a shame the ball was not there... then I read your comment! That lamp post on the right is a pain too, but I like the player at its base....
You managed to get enough movement to avoid a static image and there is a nice diagonal between the main player and the net at the back. The texture of the mud is interesting too.
