If there was ever a picture to serve as a testament to why I need a new camera with better low light capabilities, this would be it. The technical quality is, quite frankly, terrible. But it captures a scene last night in bed when our three year old daughter fell asleep with our five month old puppy Ludwig.
(And I also have to apologize for the site being briefly down. Or I pass on an apology from 1and1, the site host. Something happened on the server that hosts the database and the site was down for the better part of today. Many bad things are said about 1and1, but to their credit, they had things fixed and back to normal within two hours of me letting them know.)

What a lovely picture of your daughter and the puppy!
As for cameras - I treated myself to a Canon EOS 1000D with an 18-55 mm lense and a Tamron 70-300 mm (came as a package) shortly before Christmas. I might be eating wiener water soup all spring - but I'm happy! Trudie @ January 4, 2010
The technical quality doesn't count here. It's all about the soul of people & moments. And you captured one of them where the soul can be seen. It' a an amazing piece of work, it's a great photograph, Jim! All the best & safe travels, Fritsch. Fritsch @ January 7, 2010
