The last picture made reference to the ship Götheborg, which was docked in Lysekil for a few days as part of a summer tour along the coast of Sweden. It's a replica of an 18th century ship that sailed to China three times before sinking off the coast of Gothenburg in 1745. The replica was launched in 2003 and has even made the return trip to China.

Great shot! Some friends of mine got to see the ship in Göteborg - I think in 2004 - and I'll send a link to them to this picture. They'll really enjoy it! Allmycke @ August 2, 2009
This is super impressive!
Can almost imagine the 'yarr!' and 'Ahoy!' shouts in there :) Ilan @ August 2, 2009
Great B&W sot, with lots of detail and layers of grey mark / way way photo @ August 3, 2009
Fantastic, great shot and processing! -trond- @ August 3, 2009
great composition! The ship is very impressive.
Maybe a crop from the top would have made the ship even bigger. ysk @ August 4, 2009
This looks like a masterpiece, Jim. A great composition & the only thing missing is Errol Flynn. The processing is great because it brings out this vintage beauty & a lot of great details. It's beautiful, Jim, really beautiful! All the best & safe travels, Fritsch. Fritsch @ August 4, 2009
