Down by the harbour, Hunnebostrand has a diving tower. And in all the time I have lived here, I have never seen anyone actually jump off it. I have seem a handful climb to the top, even stand at the edge, but I'd never witnessed anyone take the plunge. Until a few days ago, when this guy and his friend took the leap a few times.
(In the interests of full disclosure, a tiny bit of the diving tower was poking into the frame and I took the liberty of digitally removing it for the purposes of the final photo. I think it makes it a more dramatic picture—but it takes it out of the running for ever making its way into the New York Times.)
Thanks for visiting. I really appreciate your support and comments!
