Returning with an old picture, but one that I have always liked, taken in Simon's Town, South Africa, a stone's throw from the Cape of Good Hope. There is a colony of jackass penguins (their name, not a description) who have their own little beach. This little guy (girl?) was just one of the residents, wandering off after losing interest in yet another few tourists dropping into their home uninvited.
you gave him such a personality!
Wonderful shot! KG @ April 5, 2009

It tells a good story and you caught it at the right moment. The contrasts of shade and light are well managed too. sophie @ April 18, 2009
