I know this looks like the most dire, depressing sandbox in existence, like something out of a Dickens orphanage or something. It is actually part of the play area at the local zoo, in the farm half. For part of the year, it's used for livestock. The rest of the time, it's cleaned out to become the play area for kids. And in person, it doesn't seem quite so depressing.
